Our Vision

Our vision has been created through visioning sessions with a variety of stakeholders. We began by visioning with SLT, then staff in the form of visioning sessions. We have taken into account pupil voice from assemblies, The Voice and general surveys including informally chatting to pupils from all age phases. Other adults have contributed informally via talking to staff at various school events, in the playground and visits to school. Parental surveys have also been taken into account.

The Governors have contributed to the vision through their support and challenge throughout last academic year and their feedback from accountability meetings, discussions and Governors and Governor in School feedback has been taken into account. Our vision was approved by Governors on 2nd October 2018.

Shaping the future:

Our children, families and staff are in charge of their future destination. They will become the next generation of leaders in work, life and political situations. At Lyndhurst we aim to grow leaders of life, both personally and professionally, in the local community, the UK and further afield.

Making memories:

In years to come we want our children, families and staff to look back on their time at Lyndhurst with fond, happy memories. Through the experiences and learning opportunities provided at our school we hope to create life long memories and stories of life at Lyndhurst that will be retold time and time again. We want our pupils to remember their peers and the adults that helped create these.

Ready for Life:

At Lyndhurst we believe that our children, families and staff should be offered opportunities to prepare them for anything that life throws at them. We believe that they should leave Lyndhurst with the skills, knowledge and learning behaviours to enable them to flourish in whichever path they choose.
