Phonics and Reading

In early years and Key Stage1, we use Read Write Inc for Phonics and reading.

Some children may acces this in Key Stage 2.

We work in close collaboration with Ruth Miskin consultants.

At Lyndhurst we promote a love of reading through use of Reading explorers programme, Reading Rivers and believe that every child is a reader. 

We also work in parternship with Oldham Libraries and promote incentives like the Reading Challenge.
